The optimised F5 wall-mounted mixers are now available as an electronic thermostatic mixer with a C-module,a self-closing hydraulic thermostatic mixer, and a single-lever mixer. They also include a pre-assembled hygiene unit with an integrated C-module or with the option of adding this unit later.
The solenoid valve cartridge in the hygiene unit allows an automatic hygiene flush to prevent stagnation in the installation system and thus ensure drinking water hygiene. A hygiene purge is set at the factory every 24 hours.
As with the optional combination with the F7 pillar taps, the functional scope of the C-module enables the fitting to be controlled and parameterised. . The C-module provides a direct connection between the tap and the app.
The new KWC Smart Connect app can securely network up to 100 taps, as it is password protected, wireless networking. This means group-based tap functions are already possible at the sanitary room level without additional investment in higher-level control hardware. Individual settings, such as water flow time or sensor range, can be parameterised. General information, e.g. on the battery status, is displayed, and relevant statistical data can be exported and saved.
